What is S.T.E.A.M? STEAM is an acronym that stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics. Incorporating STEAM practices into your child’s learning is important because it develops 21st Century skills and helps them make connections to the real world. STEAM is a culture. It is a pedagogy that meshes the subject areas together to show how they are related to one another. This gives more relevancy to what students are learning. STEAM involves critical thinking and collaboration with peers. STEAM is hands on, inquisitive, innovative, and fun!
